In just a few short years, its liberating capabilities made Flash the industry standard, and by 2000, Flash gaming took off like rocket. Fast forward 10 years of Flash domination and you’ll notice a shift, or rather, you’ll notice the likes of Apple creating a rift in the web ethos.
In 2010 Apple blocked Flash content from its mobile devices, and sought to replace it with HTML5, arguing that Flash was no longer necessary; Adobe hearing this message, fought back, and a large scale company war broke out.
