Netflix has just signed a multi-year agreement with Hasbro to bring 10 shows to its streaming service, according to a release.

Hasbro owns the rights to numerous classic TV shows from the 80's and will be serving up old episodes of GI Joe: Real American Heroes, My Little Pony, Transformers Prime, and many more via Netflix.

Insert GI Joe reference here.

  1. That is cool that they are going to have all these 80’s cartoons available. I know I always wanted to show my kids the type of cartoons I watched growing up. I still would not go back to Netflix for that. I switched over to the Blockbuster@Home service through DISH. A co-worker at DISH told me to try it out because it is only $10 a month, and I absolutely love it! I have plenty of family movies and cartoons available on their streaming service and I get new releases by mail 28 days before Netflix. I think this will be awesome for customers that have Netflix, but I am completely happy with the switch I made.
