Innovative & Super Cool Coffee Packaging Designs

Media_httpturbowhodes_hjbik

I love coffee, I drink it most days and drink it in many different forms, espressos, flat whites, macchiato’s, you get the idea – I am well and truly addicted.

Being admirer of aesthetically pleasing design also means when I go out for a coffee I enjoy seeing independent coffee shops producing quality branding on their products.

25 Delicious Examples of Coffee Art

Media_httppulllava360_twbjb

This art was started in the late 80s. The art of pouring steamed milk to the espresso and creating beautiful designs with the help of it is called latte/chocolate/coffee art. It is a very difficult but very creative and elegant art. Since it is too difficult, therefore espresso and barista machines are the key factors to create a coffee art. Following are some of the stunning examples of latte art.

Marketing Lessons from Starbucks

Media_httpwwwinccomup_dspkl

A few weeks ago, I was stranded in the airport in Atlanta, and found myself in search of one thing: a Starbucks.

It was a little surprising: I used to hate Starbucks, or at least what I thought it stood for. I grew up on Dunkin Donuts (I'm still a fan), and the thought the idea of saying 'venti' instead of 'large' was annoying on many levels. The idea of paying more than $2 for a cup of coffee to go was also outrageous.

So why am I addicted to Starbucks now?

Because of Starbucks' convenient locations, I've found myself using them more and more as I travel--and I have come to realize that the company sells much more than coffee. It also sells cleanliness, comfort, and consistency--a welcoming atmosphere and a standard list of drinks unique to Starbucks.

The Top People In Tech Are Freaking Out Over Starbucks's $100 Million Purchase Of Their Favorite Café

So Starbucks bought some little French bakery in northern California?

Oh, non, my friends, non. If you want to understand the living, beating pulse of the tech world today, you must understand the phenomenon that is La Boulange, the 19-café chain that Howard Schultz & Co. just dropped $100 million on.

First, the baked goods: We hear they're delicious. We'd be all over them if we ate carbs.

The coffee: superb. Coffee snobs like GigaOm's Om Malik are freaking out that Starbucks is going to ruin it, of course.

Coffee Drinkers Live Longer - Science

Media_httpimggawkeras_cdxlt

Millions of us start the morning with a coffee and think nothing of it. But new medical research suggests that it could be helping you live longer—if you drink enough of it.

The large-scale study, which is published in the New England Journal of Medicine, showed that men who drank six cups of coffee or more every day were 10 per cent less likely to die during the 14 years of the study. Women who drank six cups or more were 15 per cent less likely to die over that same period. The result, fairly obviously, suggests that coffee drinkers live longer.

The researchers have also shown that the effect is seen across almost all causes of death, including heart disease, respiratory disease, stroke, diabetes, and infections. The effect, however, seems to decline with lower consumption—and a single cup of coffee a day was found to have negligible effect.

Media_httpwwwmnncomsi_hdwyk

The American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) earlier this month released a new definition of addiction. This applies to cup o’ Joe addicts as well. Got caffeine addiction? Here’s how to break the habit…

The ASAM now defines addiction as a chronic brain disorder. Whether it’s caffeine or illicit drugs or gambling or sex, addiction’s roots are not a behavioral, psychological or emotional problem; it’s a problem with your noggin’s wiring.
