One way to make an absolutely unique logo is to draw the writing manually, in contrast to selecting already made typeface. Custom lettering starts by sketching out your ideas on paper (grid paper is best) – when the desired lettering is drawn you then scan it into your computer and trace over it using a Vector program (eg.Adobe Illustrator).
