Photo Manipulation is the process by which a photograph is altered from its original state. Graphic design is used to alter a photograph in order to create a different image. This is done by editing a photograph using a special image editing software like Photoshop in order to create a seemingly realist image which in most cases is an illusion.
The end product of digital photography is always a very convincing but always an unrealistic image. It is especially useful because it helps to increase the creativity of an individual or artist because the artist can create any illusion from a simple photograph and make believable and even sleek enough to be used in advertisement campaigns.
