Ah, advertisements…such an interesting and intriguing industry. They are trying to play with our minds, to make us use certain products and to replace other ones. This is exactly what a commercial is trying to do and while it may sound scary the least we can do is congratulate all those creative people behind every great ad. Maybe you don’t know but there is a lot of work behind every advertisement; starting with the field research and all the way to analyzing the consumer’s tastes, their job isn’t easy.
In order to make capture the attention (which is vital in advertising), an ad must be extremely creative. Sure, if that ad is placed in a magazine, then the consumer can see it easily, but what if it place on a billboard near a highway? That must really be interesting because at 100 miles per hour, you can’t afford to look in any other way than the road in front of you.
