Verizon 4G LTE Now Working - After a massive outage

After a day of downtime, Verizon says its 4G LTE is back up and working, the company said in a statement.

Yesterday, the service went down for users who had 4G LTE phones. Instead, those phones reverted to a slower 3G connection.

Galaxy Nexus Will Launch On Verizon

Sprint Getting iPhone 5 Before AT&T And Verizon

There's a crazy rumor on BGR right now, following WSJ's story that Sprint is betting the company on selling the iPhone.
BGR reports that an industry source says the redesigned iPhone 5 will launch this fall exclusively on Sprint. It will also run on the carrier's 4G network and have a thinner, sleeker design than the iPhone 4.
AT&T and Verizon will have to wait until early 2012 to get the iPhone 5. That device will run on their 4G LTE networks.

Xbox Might Get Comcast and Verizon Cable Soon

Microsoft appears to be close to closing the deal on bringing Comcast and Verizon to the Xbox, with the console serving as a set-top box, according to Digiday.

If the reports are accurate, the deals could be done within the next 30 days. The deals would allow customers to subscribe to TV packages through Comcast or Verizon Fios directly through their consoles and avoid the dreaded dance with the cable guy.

AT&T vs. Verizon: LTE, Head-to-Head

AT&T launched a super-speedy 4G LTE network in five cities on Sunday, and PCMag.com junior analyst David Pierce went to Houston, Texas to compare the network to the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE system.

Verizon Strike Ends

Verizon Communications Inc. and union leaders announced Saturday an end to the acrimonious two-week strike that left thousands of workers without paychecks and customers with long waits.
The 45,000 unionized employees who walked out on the company will return to work Monday night, according to a Verizon press release, although the two parties have not yet agreed to a contract.
