Edgar Thissen is a freelance photographer based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. His first interest in photography was born when he was a teenager. He borrowed his mom’s ‘Boy’ – a box camera from the fifties – and went to the nearby forest with its fens and ducks for taking his very first photo-shoot. He just loved being on his own in nature, with a purpose. Today Edgar can be found quite often in the fields. Much of his work comprises of nature and wildlife photography.
