Previously the building was used by Mattson Creative, an award-winning graphic design studio that focuses on creating visual language for vibrant brands, and now serves as a home to artists, designers, photographers, producers & developers. There are not very many billion-dollar consumer Internet companies in the U.S.

Greylock Partners VC James Slavet recently dove head-first into the data, and found that there are only 24 publicly traded consumer Internet companies worth $1 billion or more in the U.S.

Of those 24 companies, two-thirds of them are digital transaction firms, including Priceline, Expedia, Groupon, Amazon, eBay, and Netflix.

This Futuristic Korean Real Estate Project Is On The Verge Of Collapse

The "Dream Hub" in Seoul was supposed to be a "city within a city" — home to a dozen skyscrapers, waterfront parks, and business and residential facilities.

But the $28 billion project, officially called the Yongsan International Business District, is on the line after developers defaulted on a major loan repayment amid a real estate slump, AFP reports.

We won't know whether the project will go bankrupt until June, when another round of loans matures.

Building A Better Responsive Website

Earlier this year, I was in the beginning stages of a redesign for our company’s website. We had already been planning to use a straightforward responsive approach to Web design, which is our preferred solution for multi-device support. After hearing some frank discussions at An Event Apart conference in Boston about the limitations and challenges of responsive Web design, I realized that our solution needed a bit of adjustment.

Thankfully, the project before us was the ideal opportunity to experiment and push ourselves to improve our responsive workflow. In this article, I will detail the process we took, including some of the changes we made along the way, as we worked to build a better responsive website.
