Ultra realistic oil paintings by Daniel Sprick
An inheritor of pictorial tradition that goes back at least as far as ancient Rome and later compelled the best efforts of such Northern European masters as Roger van de Weyden and Jan Vermeer, Sprick finds much yet to be revealed in the still life and the interior. His ultra realistic oil paintings continue and expand old dialogues about appearance and reality, the relationship of art and life, the revelation of the multiples in the simple. Although he is a man who is devoted to the meticulous representation of everyday things, Daniel Sprick’s career as a painter began with visions of flight.
“I began drawing,” Daniel Sprick explains, “at age four. Dad showed me how.” Airplanes were a passion. The youngster associated their graceful contours with movement and eventually made elegance in drawing the equivalent of flight. Balsa wood gliders, looping and banking, focused Sprick’s imagination on the beauty of line. To this day, Sprick relates an “exquisite line” to being airborne. Each painting, he says, is his search for “just the right launch,” and exercise that must conclude in a perfect landing.

20 Unbelievable Photo Realistic Oil Paintings By Pedro Campos
Pedro Campos is an incredible Hyper Realistic or Photo realistic painter from Madrid, Spain. Photo Realistic paintings on canvas are definitely in a whole other level of awesomeness. Seeing these painting for the first time and thinking it is actually a photograph is definitely a compliment for an artist like Pedro Campos. While many compare Campos to other realist masters, he proclaims his artistic admiration for artists such as: Lucien Freud, Richard Estes, Francis Bacon, Antonio López, and Anish Kapoor, for their quality of “distinction” in their works. He said: I think the influence of restoration in developing my own way of painting has been important. The restoration of lost areas in antique paintings forces you to seek excatitude in color: any personal intervention should go unnoticed.

Photo or Pen? Photorealistic Artwork by Samuel Silva
We all use pens every day. We use them to jot down notes, doodle a rocket ship or write a grocery list. But Samuel Silva is using pens for something far more impressive. Silva makes artwork that can barely, if at all, be differentiated from a photo.
Silva is a Portuguese lawyer. Hardly the first person you’d expect to be putting out amazing photorealistic art. He says his art takes up to 50 hours, for a single piece. But just looking at his art for a moment and you realize that 50 hours seems impossibly short for the amount of beauty and detail he has included. Silva’s DeviantArt page proudly proclaims, “It’s not about what you use, it’s about how you use it.” A simple proclamation from someone who takes a basic medium and makes something beautiful. Silva also says pens are just one of the mediums he’s trying to master. It seems as if he’s well on his way. But humble Silva describes himself as, “just a self taught patient hobbyist person.”
