What is HDR photography?

Media_httpcdnmachoart_fuaty

If you have ever taken a picture and then thought it was not a true representation of the real world scene, then you are surely in need of High dynamic range (HDR) photography.

Normal (non-HDR) images are taken at just 1 exposure level which limits the contrast range. Depending on the exposure settings, the photo will lose details in either the bright or the dark areas of the image. Through HDR photography the real life scenes like intensity of sunlight and the shadow effects can be well replicated.
