Today we have collected the beautiful photography “sunbeams photography”. Sunbeams or sun rays photography is one of the most challenging and time taking photography, as you have to gap for an early morning when the sun rise, upswing from the clouds or circling around the trees, this is the exact time when you have the chance to capture strong beams of light as they burst through the trees. Below are “Magnificent Sunbeams Photography Examples” that are really eye-catching. Check them out and enjoy.

Our Sun Like You Have Never Seen It Before
This video takes SDO images and applies additional processing to enhance the structures visible. While there is no scientific value to this processing, it does result in a beautiful, new way of looking at the sun. The original frames are in the 171 Angstrom wavelength of extreme ultraviolet. This wavelength shows plasma in the solar atmosphere, called the corona, that is around 600,000 Kelvin. The loops represent plasma held in place by magnetic fields. They are concentrated in "active regions" where the magnetic fields are the strongest. These active regions usually appear in visible light as sunspots. The events in this video represent 24 hours of activity on September 25, 2011.

Did You Miss the Solar Eclipse? Check Out This Gorgeous Time Lapse Video
Cory Poole—science teacher at University Preparatory School in Redding, California, and Gizmodo reader—has composed this 60-second time lapse video made from 700 frames captured by a Coronado Solar Max 60 Double Stacked Hydrogen Alpha Solar Telescope. His words:
The pictures were shot in Redding California which was directly in the annular eclipse path. The filter on the telescope allows you to see the chromosphere which is a layer that contains solar prominences. The filter only allows light that is created when hydrogen atoms go from the 2nd excited state to the 1st excited state.

NASA Captures the Sun's Most Striking Photo Yet
You are looking at the Sun's Evil Eye. Or the Death Star ready to shoot its planet-destructing laser. Or Jean Grey turning into the Phoenix. Actually, I really don't care about what the hell is going on here—it just looks amazing.
And the fact is that, even while this M4.7-class solar flare ended before any coronal mass ejection happened, it doesn't make it look less scary. According to NASA, "this image is shown in the 131 Angstrom wavelength, a wavelength that is typically colorized in teal and that provided the most detailed picture of this particular flare."

The Sun Just Had a 79,000 Mile Explosion
You might have had a peaceful day here, but up above, some serious solar violence just went down: an ejection of scorching plasma just erupted from the Sun. Enough to burn its away across ten Earths.
The eruption is what's known as a coronal mass ejection, or CME, when the Sun's magnetic fields force out an unfathomably large amount of unfathomably hot gas: "A large CME can contain a billion tons of matter that can be accelerated to several million miles per hour in a spectacular explosion. Solar material streams out through the interplanetary medium, impacting any planet or spacecraft in its path," explains NASA, who told us that this particular blast extended to the far reaches of our solar system.

Huge Solar Flare to Hit Earth Today, Disrupting Power and Communications
NASA reports that two massive solar flares erupted from the sun on Tuesday which are expected to hit Earth this morning—and they could affect power, communication and GPS systems.
The flares are a result of Coronal Mass Ejections; events where the sun spits out huge amounts of energy in the from of plasma. The resulting flares send clouds of charged particles racing through space and, in this case, we're in the way. The first cloud—due to hit the planet at around 7am EST—is travelling at over 1,300 miles per second, while the second is traveling at about 1,100 miles per second. The video shows footage of the flares recorded by NASA.

40+ Beautiful Examples of Sunrise Photography
The first few moments we find right as the sun breaks for a new day is a very special time. The quality of light is usually amazing and makes fantastic images. Sunrise is the instant at which the upper edge of the Sun appears above the horizon in the east. Sunrise should not be confused with dawn, which is the point at which the sky begins to lighten, some time before the sun itself appears, ending twilight. Because atmospheric refraction causes the sun to be seen while it is still below the horizon, both sunrise and sunset are, from one point of view, optical illusions. The sun also exhibits an optical illusion at sunrise similar to the moon illusion.

10 Selected Masterpieces of Natural Light Photography
Be it a Portrait, Landscape, Wedding or Table-Top assignment, light is an essential element for all kinds of photography. One cannot make a photograph without light. To be literal, a photograph is just a capture of light available in front of the camera. Earlier, we used films to record the light’s information. Later, the advanced technologies have led us into the digital world of photography. Light being the vital element in photography, solar light is a marvelous gift for photographers. This article describes the essence and beauty of natural light that could be relished along with photography.

Google's letting it shine as it nears $1 billion investment in solar energy
Google's feeling charitable this holiday and has pumped $94 million into a Californian solar-energy project. The photovoltaic power plant (which is a posh way of saying "lots of solar panels in the Sacramento desert") currently being built by Recurrent Energy will generate 88MW, enough juice for 13,000 homes. Additional investment is coming from equity fund KKR, who has already sold the first 20 years of energy to the Sacramento Municipal Utility District. It brings the search giant's investment in clean energy projects to $915 million -- with the company expected to cross the billion dollar mark some time next year, when we hope it'll get a nice loyalty bonus from Mother Nature.

40+ Stunning Silhouette photographs of people
Silhouette Photography produces very stunning results and it is wonderful way to convey drama, mystery, emotion and mood in a picture. You can easily differentiate Silhouette Photography from the other types of photography because it looks like a dark outline against a light background. Pictures like these often don’t convey a clear story, and leave part of the image up to the imagination of the viewer.

36 Heartwarming Moments in Sunset Photography
As the sun sets on another day we all begin to feel a sense of peace and tranquility. I can attest to this, especially coming from a small town which drops silent by nightfall. But it’s not just the calming sun energy, as even photography can express the emotion at this wonderful time of day.

Artificial Trees: Capturing Energy from Sun and Wind
Alternative energy is all the rage as we try to reduce dependency on foreign oil and lower our monthy bills without reading by candlelight. At the head of the pack are three different technology: wind turbines, solar panels that capture energy from sunlight and solar collectors that convert the heat from the sun into electricity. A London company combined all three into a power plant you'd want to have in your yard: an artificial tree.

Floating Webs Capture Sun and Wave Power
Call it a two-for-one special in renewable energy. A new concept for marine solar cells could harness energy from both the sun and the waves at the same time.
"They work on many different levels. They can be scaled up to as big a project as you want it to be," said British designer, Phil Pauley.

The Sun Shines on China, and not America - Solar Industry
The bankruptcies of three American solar power companies in the last month, including Solyndra of California on Wednesday, have left China’s industry with a dominant sales position — almost three-fifths of the world’s production capacity — and rapidly declining costs.

The Secret of the Fibonacci Sequence in Trees
People see winter as a cold and gloomy time in nature. The days are short. Snow blankets the ground. Lakes and ponds freeze, and animals scurry to burrows to wait for spring. The rainbow of red, yellow and orange autumn leaves has been blown away by the wind turning trees into black skeletons that stretch bony fingers of branches into the sky. It seems like nature has disappeared.
