Yulia Brodskaya is a Russian artist that has swiftly earned an international reputation for her innovative paper illustrations. Born in Moscow Russia, Yulia was always interested in diverse creative practices ranging from Textile Painting, Origami, Collage, and traditional Fine Art practices. After receiving an MA in Graphic Communications from the University of Hertfordshire, she continued to experiment and evaluate her burning interests like typography, paper, and highly detailed hand-made craft objects. Her hard work has payed off dramatically and till this day she continues to create beautifully detailed paper designs for clients all around the world.
When I was a kid I was surrounded by paper constantly (since its the only thing we had back then lol) and I never thought to use it as its own medium for art. I always thought you were supposed to write on it, or draw on it, or just do flat 2-Dimensional things with it.
