Who of us hasn’t experienced the thrill of reading the comic book of his favorite superhero, while he was tucked under his blanket in his childhood? Who hasn’t experienced the excitement when he was reading how his superhero came and saved the world from the clutches of the dark evil forces? Yes we tend to shed such interests when we grow old but our children still feel the same way when they read their comic books. This is the reason why children love their rooms to be decorated by images of superheroes. Also, it won’t be wrong to infer that even we adults are still fascinated by superhero stories perhaps not as much in reading but in watching. The successes of movies like The Dark Knight and The Amazing Spider-Man bears witness to this fact.
