Nintendo’s Wii U has managed to outperform the launch of its original Wii, at least in terms of revenue, but only because it costs more.
In the U.S., Nintendo sold 460,000 Wii U devices in December and more than 890,000 since it launched in mid-November, according to NPD, which tracks monthly sales figures for the videogame industry.

"Hi! I’m Olivia Bell, I’m 21 and I live in the UK. I picked up a camera about 5yrs ago, and now I’m glued to my DSLR.
I mostly take portraits, but I’ll give anything a go, so you never know what I’ll take. I’ve done a 365 project, which really got me going, and then I started (and have almost completed) a 100 Jump Photographs Project, which has been such fun, I wish it was more like 200!
Since then I’ve started another 365 Project – I just love how they really motivate you to keep picking up your DSLR, even if it’s just for personal purposes. But I’ve found so many new clients through the project itself. So if you’re wondering whether to do one, go for it!
