I’ve always found the phrase “an oldie, but a goodie” to be rather strange, but anyone who takes the time to research retro design in general will no doubt come to appreciate the beauty in these familiar but distant works.
Logos in a retro style can elicit nostalgia from people in a targeted age bracket, or imply a trustworthiness exuded by long-established businesses. With a retro logo, you’re forced to remember things we should have never forgotten in the first place. Timeless logos are, after all, the greatest logos.
