"I got seriously into photography about 3 years ago when I realized digital SLRs were starting to get very good (I hate the whole darkroom experience so was never tempted by film). I love dramatic perspectives and clarity and perfection in composition. Design and symmetry but most of all, creating/capturing ambience are big things for me, creating harmony out of the chaotic world around us. I guess I am one of "Kenna’s children" but don’t have that many other photographic influences, I tend to find inspiration elsewhere, from music for example. That said, I love the work of Julius Tjintjelaar who always manages to push the game along and Steve Landeros, a real master of textural and tonal balance.
