When you’re applying for a job, there is nothing more important than your resume to get you noticed. Before an interviewer or prospective client ever lays eyes on you, their first port of call is your resume. It’s your way of making contact, your introduction, and as such should be an extension of you. First impressions count, and when it comes to design, we all judge a book by its cover.
In an industry where Photoshop skills are two a penny, and everyone and their grandma knows CS6 inside out, your resume needs to put you head and shoulders above the rest. The masses may have the skills, but you need to flaunt your creativity, and one of the most overlooked places to do this is your resume.
