Nokia announced plans to let go of 3,500 employees this morning.
The cuts come from closing a manufacturing plant in Cluj, Romania and consolidating its Location and Commerce teams.
Nokia has been in a state of trouble for a long time now. Cuts like these are painful, and embarrassing, but probably needed to get the company back to health.
