Gadgets are one of the primary solutions for optimization in the world. We buy them to make sure we’re plugged into the world, and we upgrade them in order to stay in the now. It’s a constant movement which is a revolution in itself. The world is getting smaller, and that is partly thanks to the increasing power of our gadgets. Modern gadgets usually fall out of service after a couple of years, but some of them become relics of a past that we keep in order to stay in touch with history.
If you are a geek, you have probably seen plenty of retro gadgets in your days. It could be anything from an old Macintosh to a first tier cell phone marketed in the early ’80s. It doesn’t really matter what it is, you will always know when you have something really old in your scope. Well, it so happens that one day our state-of-the-art gadgets will also become modern gadgets gone retro. That’s just how the world turns, and there is little we can do to change that.
