Removing color from an image can emphasize a particular subject just as much as leaving it in color, sometimes more. When you bring an image into black and white, the subject appears stable and secure in one moment of time.The lack of color seems to bring more depth to the image and brings out details that may have been overlooked in color; color has a tendency to glaze over some pieces of art, but not every piece works well in black and white. We found this hodge-podge of black and white photos and designs to be very inspiring.
